🤴🏾 Axioms of Being a Team / Tech Lead. 1. Create Conditions for Delegation 🤴🏾
I've been managing teams for about 7 years now, and all my knowledge comes from (1) random articles, (2) my cool managers, and (3) personal experience.
After some thought, I realized that I have a few axioms that I've taken as a basis, and it's precisely these that allow me to successfully work with teams and develop projects through others:
- Create all conditions for delegation
- The developer who will be working on a task should take the task and state the deadline
- Multiply the time stated by developers by 2 when reporting deadlines to the business
- The mental state of the team is more important than completed tasks
